PROFILE
Christopher McCoy and Victoria Walters are international entrepreneurs that have travelled the globe, drawing inspiration from many cultures, climates, and experiences. Their out-of-the-box thinking, passion, and ability to see around corners gives them a unique edge to formulate and develop impactful solutions for a myriad of industries and ecosystems. They are particularly fond of problem solving for issues involving the environment, ecology, cultural exchange, and finding the beautiful overlap where technology and nature can co-exist for the better.
CHRISTOPHER REED MCCOY
Dynamic, forward-thinking, and results-oriented professional with 25+ years of experience as an entrepreneur. Proven track record in producing highly innovative business concepts and products, in industries including agriculture, packaging, eco-technology, and virtual reality hardware.
Christopher McCoy grew up the mountains of northern California, in Tahoe. He was raised surrounded by nature, and had an interest in art and science fiction from a young age. Being homeschooled and also self taught in many areas, he spent most of his time inside of his own mind – thinking about science, nature, how things work, and how problems can be solved by using both technology and nature together.
Most of his projects have been unconventional, and “outside of the box”. Chris has always taken pride in pursuing things that are unique, and also in being unique himself. He enjoys being involved in projects that pique both others and his own curiosities. He strives to work on projects that make others think, ignite curiosity, and explore solutions that others don’t immediately see.
He has spent a large amount of his time on water – lakes, oceans, rivers, doing scuba diving, sailing, fishing, and observing.
Chris has also bred and cultivated everything from fish to insects, dogs, plants, mushrooms, and even coral. His curiosity and intrigue into the natural world and how humans and technology interact and integrate with it drives many of his endeavors.
His clever mind and foresight have led him to pursue projects that span from horticulture, aquaculture, perishable goods packaging solutions, virtual reality technology, eco-tech hardware solutions, and more.
VICTORIA MARIE WALTERS
Victoria Walters was born in Southern California, in Ventura. Her upbringing placed in the juxtaposition of nature and city life – frequently visiting the nearby beaches, camping in the forest, but also spending time in Los Angeles with family and living in the suburbs. This created an appreciation for the contrast of urban life and the beauty of the natural world.
This high contrast fueled her interest in art, history, and also the sciences. Victoria excelled in all school studies, while being particularly drawn to creative and artistic studies. Her background in science, art, and fashion give her a refined sense of taste, a wide range of skills, and a unique perspective.
She has been an entrepreneur for the past two decades, starting her own independent businesses and also supporting Chris on his endeavors.
Victoria is a seasoned creative director and brand consultant, helping to elevate and consult both established companies and startups in industries such as luxury and lifestyle, technology, architecture, and even fashion.
She has also helped in fundraising, pitching, and outreach efforts for multiple successful campaigns, made content that has united powerful brands in partnership, and been able to see brands grow from idea to reality in real time.
PROJECT ARCHIVE
ECO-TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION
Invented, conceptualized, and presented to the UAE, a high-impact technology for worldwide application and trade. Involves innovative desalination hardware and techniques for coastal regions. [Project Working Name: Hydronetiks, 2026 – present]
VIRTUAL REALITY HARDWARE
Invented and developed a hardware accessory for virtual reality headsets for enhanced 4D style immersion. The hardware is able to be paired with most major VR headsets from various companies to provide haptic feedback that coordinates with the action in the game via SDK. Modular and upgradable, along with additional opportunities for brand and franchise collaborations. Fully built in Japan, applauded by top VR entrepreneurs, and coveted by gamers. [X-FACE, 2020]
WEB 3 ARCHITECTURAL MARKETPLACE & COMMUNITY CONCEPT
Helped to develop a conceptual web-3 architectural project alongside team members including Harvard graduated, award-winning architects, fractal geometry experts, biomaterials experts, and many other talented individuals. Chris led the framework to lead the business models and real-world applications – which included a digital marketplace for architectural firms to showcase and sell designs, test and quote materials in real time, promote biomaterials, create digital twins, collaborate with municipalities, engage communities, integrate blockchain features, and collect/sell data. Collaboration with team across multiple countries and time zones. [Project working name: The Nexus Terraforma, USA/global, 2019]
WEB 3 BLOCKCHAIN WATER PROJECT
Worked with and consulted for a team of around 8 people to develop concepts and applications for blockchain technology and access to water, water technology, and support of worldwide water initiatives. Team members included prominent water engineers, internationally awarded mathematicians and programmers, humanitarian consultants, and former Google staff. A concept developed by Chris from this project has been carried over to the “Hydronetiks” technology concept. [Project Working Name HYDRA, 2016-2017]
PERISHABLE GOODS PACKAGING INNOVATION
Developing UV-blocking and off-gas optimized medical-grade packing for perishables. Worked with Rayban tech to utilize UV-blocking materials and integrate them into the film of a plastic bag to block light and prevent degradation of perishable items. The bags were also designed with optimal permeation rates to allow gases from food ripening to escape, while still protecting the contents from oxidation that can contribute to staleness. [The Original Herbie Bag, USA, 2014]
CIVILIAN DRONE COLLAB WITH AIRFORCE STARTUP
Organized and proposed with Air Force personnel and drone pilots to create a civilian drone operation that would work in tandem with government. Spoke with Sergeants and top level military, and the project was highly regarded – however, at the time Air Force pilots pushed back in an attempt to keep more real men in the pilot’s seat and the project was postponed. Several members of the original core team eventually restarted the project some years later and launched the company, gaining the military support contracts, however Chris was busy with other projects by then. [Guam/USA, 2011]
ORGANIC HORTICULTURAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Developed a recipe and protocol for highly effective bio tea for use in agriculture and landscaping. This formula was able to increase soil health and beneficial microbial life, reduce water needs, and increase harvests and quality of produce/plants. This previous biotea business was sold to a personal contact, who then grew the business and eventually sold the developed brand to Scott’s Lawn for multi-million dollar profits. Future development of a similar, improved product line and business could have massive beneficial impact on the UAE region. [Northern California, 2002]
CORAL SPAWNING & BREEDING EXPERIMENTS
Set up a coral breeding lab to study and experiment with the breeding cycles and stimuli for successful coral spawning. Was able to manipulate hours of light, temperature, and current to induce more rapid and scheduled spawning of coral. This research could help contribute to faster restoration or regeneration of damaged coral reefs. [Northern California facility, 2000-2003]
SELECTIVE HIGH QUALITY DOG BREEDING
Passionately led a boutique breeding operation for over a decade, breeding blue Great Danes in Northern California and had a roster of high-profile clients/owners who revered his dogs. His pups commanded premium pricing and had a waitlist. He was able to selectively breed the Danes to get them smaller to reduce weight and burden on their frames and create a sleeker silhouette, to reduce jowls for a more streamlined facial structure and less drooling, and to produce dogs without white patches on their chest and paws for an uninterrupted silvery blue coat of fur. Demonstrates his ability to select, test, observe, and manipulate for desired results over time, as well as his desire to share the gift of creation with others. [Blue Dane Empire, 2000-2016]
